The assault caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
